FIRST-RGV hosted the 2016-2017 FTC Season Kick Off Event and a Coaches Clinic.
More than 35 FTC coaches came to this event hosted at the UTRGV/McAllen Teaching Center located at 1800 S Main Street, in McAllen, Texas.
The executive team of FIRST-RGV took the time to give the new rookie coaches detailed information on what it will take to make a successful team for this competition season.
You need to get the costumes, cheerleaders, mascot, engineering notebook, business plan and take the time to build your pit for show. That is how you get points, said Jason Arms, FIRST-RGV CEO.
At the conclusion of the 2016-2017 FTC Game Specs, coaches seemed optimistic and excited about this years challenge with FIRST.
